Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-22 · Effective October 22, 2026

Key points

This summary is here to help you read the Terms. It does not replace them. If the summary and the Terms differ, the Terms apply.

  • OneTurn is run by Fast Law LLC. These Terms are a contract between you and Fast Law LLC.
  • The AI models on OneTurn are built and run by other companies. We can add, remove, replace or reprice models at any time, and no particular model is guaranteed to stay available.
  • AI output can be wrong. Check every translation, conversion, edit and redaction before you rely on it, send it or publish it.
  • You own what you upload and what you create. We use it only to run the service for you.
  • Your security level decides which kinds of providers may receive your content. Under “All models”, some providers may use it to train their models.
  • Credits are a prepaid right to use the service. They have no cash value, and purchases are final except where these Terms or the law say otherwise.
  • Singapore law applies, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections your local law gives you.

1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the OneTurn website at oneturn.ai (formerly refi.ne), its apps, its programming interfaces and every related service (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Fast Law LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Delaware file number 6643043), registered office 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901, United States (“Fast Law”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

You accept these Terms when you create an account, buy credits or a subscription, or otherwise use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” then includes that organisation.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms. Prices, model availability and feature limits shown in the Service also form part of these Terms as they stand at the time you use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

  • You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to make a binding contract where you live, to create an account.
  • Students under 18 may take part in an exercise or assignment only through a link that a teacher or school shares with them, and without creating an account. The teacher or school that shares the link is responsible for the student information it enters, for obtaining any consent that is needed, and for supervising the students’ use.
  • You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are named on, or owned or controlled by a person named on, a sanctions list maintained by the United States (including the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control) or the European Union. You may not use the Service to send content or output to such a person or place.
  • You may not use a model from a country or region where its provider does not permit use. We may restrict access to the Service, or to particular models, by country or region.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account, and you must tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think it has been misused.
  • One person may hold only one free account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
  • If you use the Service without signing in, we create a temporary guest account in your browser. Guest accounts have lower limits and are deleted after a period of inactivity, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. The Service and third-party AI models

  • The Service uses artificial-intelligence models, translation engines and document-conversion services that are developed and operated by independent third parties (“Providers”). We decide which of them to offer. Providers are not our agents and are not parties to these Terms.
  • We may at any time add, remove, replace, rename, re-route or change the version of any model or feature, and may change its limits, speed, context size or price. When a Provider retires, restricts, suspends or reprices a model, we may make the matching change without notice.
  • A model name refers to the model offered under that name by its Provider. The Provider may change how a model behaves without changing its name.
  • We do not promise that any particular model, Provider, quality level, speed or feature will remain available. Credits pay for use of the Service. They are not tied to any model or feature.
  • If a model you selected becomes unavailable while a task is running, we may stop the task, or continue it with a comparable model where your security level allows. You are charged only for the steps that ran.
  • If you do not accept a change to the models or features we offer, your only remedy is to stop using the affected model or the Service. Credits you have already bought are dealt with under Section 9.

5. Your content

5.1 Ownership

“Your Content” means the prompts, messages, files, images and other material you submit (“Input”) and the material the Service generates or modifies for you (“Output”). As between you and us, you keep all rights you have in your Input. To the extent we have any rights in Output, we assign them to you, subject to the terms of the Provider whose model produced it. We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not promise that Output is original, unique, protected by copyright or free of third-party rights. Output given to you may be similar to output given to other users.

5.2 The permission you give us

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transform, display to you and transmit Your Content, only as needed to provide, secure, support and bill for the Service. This includes sending Your Content to the Providers needed to carry out your request, under their terms and within your security level (Section 5.4). Where your security level is “All models”, it also includes sending Your Content to Providers whose terms let them use it to train or improve their models.

This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from our active systems. It continues only for copies held in backups until those backups expire, and for material we must keep for a reason described in the Privacy Policy. We will not sell Your Content. We will not use it to train our own models, and we will not use it in marketing, case studies or showcases unless you agree to that separately and expressly.

5.3 Your responsibility for Your Content

  • You confirm that you have every right, licence and consent needed to upload Your Content and to have it translated, converted, edited, redacted or otherwise processed, and to let us send it to Providers under your security level.
  • If Your Content contains personal data about other people, such as clients, employees or students, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to share it with us and for giving those people any notice the law requires.
  • Do not upload data that is subject to special regulation, such as protected health information under HIPAA or payment-card data, unless your own legal obligations allow you to process it with the Service and your security level.

5.4 Security levels

  • You can choose one of three security levels for your account: All models, No training or Zero retention. Guests, and accounts that have not chosen a level, use All models.
  • Under All models, some Providers may use Your Content to train or improve their models, and their staff may review it. Do not use this level for confidential material.
  • Under No training, we use only Providers whose terms say they do not train on content sent through their programming interfaces. They may still keep content for a limited period, for example to detect abuse.
  • Under Zero retention, we use only Providers that state they do not keep content after the response is delivered.
  • Changing your security level may reset the models you have selected.
  • We classify Providers from their published terms and policies, and we apply your security level to the requests we send. This is done on a best-efforts basis. We make no representation or warranty that any Provider complies with its own terms, policies or commitments, or that a Provider’s terms will not change. Each Provider’s own retention and safety-review rules continue to apply to content it receives.

6. AI output: check it before you rely on it

  • AI output can be wrong, incomplete, out of date, biased or offensive, and it can look right when it is not. Translation, OCR, conversion, editing and redaction can drop, change or move text, numbers, tables, images and formatting.
  • Review all Output before you rely on it, file it, send it or publish it. You are responsible for how you use Output.
  • Output is not legal, medical, financial, tax, engineering or other professional advice, and it is not a certified or sworn translation. Where a decision needs professional judgement, have a qualified professional review the Output first.
  • Redaction: we do not guarantee that a redaction removes all of the information you meant to remove. This includes information in metadata, images, hidden layers, comments, tracked changes and earlier versions. Inspect every redacted file before you share it.
  • Do not use Output as the only basis for a decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on a person, such as decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, education or health.
  • If Output is defective, your remedy is to run the task again or, where available, to use Report & Refund for that turn (Section 9.5).

7. Acceptable use

7.1 What you may do

Subject to these Terms, you may use the Service for your personal purposes and for the internal business purposes of your organisation, including paid work you do for your own clients.

7.2 What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, rent or white-label the Service, or give anyone else access to your account.
  • Access the Service by automated means, such as scripts, bots or scrapers, except through features or interfaces we provide for that purpose.
  • Try to extract, reveal or reconstruct our system prompts, tool definitions, model routing or other internal workings, including by prompt injection or jailbreaking. You may not red-team or security-test the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service, or Output, to develop or train a model or service that competes with the Service or with a Provider.
  • Get around credit balances, guest limits, device limits, rate limits or other usage limits, for example by creating several accounts, resetting device identifiers or automating sign-ups.
  • Upload malware, or interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service or the networks connected to it.
  • Upload, generate or share content that is illegal, that sexually exploits or endangers children, that harasses or threatens people, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Use the Service to commit fraud, to deceive people, or to present Output as written by a human where the law or the context requires you to disclose that AI was used.
  • Use the Service in breach of any applicable law, including sanctions and export-control laws.

7.3 Provider usage policies

When you use a Provider’s model, you must also follow that Provider’s usage policy. These policies are published by the Providers, for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Meta. We may refuse, block or stop a request that a Provider prohibits. Providers may screen, flag or keep content for safety review under their own terms. A breach of a Provider’s usage policy through the Service is also a breach of these Terms.

8. Agents, code execution, web access and sharing

  • The assistant may plan and carry out several steps for one request. Each step can use credits. It may run code it writes in an isolated sandbox, and it may search the web or fetch web pages that you give it or that it needs to complete your request.
  • We may limit the number of steps, the running time and the spend of any task. A task pauses when your balance runs out (Section 9.6).
  • You are responsible for checking the results of code that is run for you, and for having the right to access and use any web page you ask the assistant to fetch.
  • Content you share through a link, QR code, published page, exercise set or class assignment can be opened by anyone who has the link until it expires or you turn it off. You are responsible for what you share and with whom. We may disable a shared link at any time.

9. Credits, subscriptions and payments

9.1 What credits are

  • Credits are a prepaid right to use the Service at the rates we publish. Credits are not money, e-money, a deposit or a security. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. You may not transfer, sell or gift them, and they cannot be moved between accounts.
  • The credit cost of each model and feature is shown in the Service, and we may change it at any time. A change applies to use after it takes effect. Credits already spent are final.
  • Your credits are spent in this order: Subscription Credits first, then Promotion and Trial Credits, then Forever Credits.

9.2 Types of credit

  • Forever Credits are credits you buy outright. They do not expire as long as your account exists and we continue to provide the Service. If we stop providing the Service permanently, Forever Credits end and no refund is due. If your account is deleted or terminated, Forever Credits are forfeited, except as stated in Section 12.
  • Subscription Credits are granted each billing period while your subscription is active. Each renewal replaces the remaining Subscription Credits with that period’s allowance, so unused Subscription Credits do not roll over. When your subscription ends, any Subscription Credits you have left are converted into Forever Credits.
  • Promotion, Trial and sign-up credits are granted free of charge. They have no cash value. We may set or change their expiry, and we may withdraw them, for example where they were obtained through several accounts or in breach of these Terms.

9.3 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and we charge your payment method until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately, and the charge is prorated.
  • We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase for your subscription. The new price applies from the first renewal after the notice period ends.

9.4 Payment, taxes and currency

  • Prices are shown in the currency you select, currently US dollars or Hong Kong dollars. You are responsible for any taxes that apply, unless we collect them at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

9.5 Refunds and chargebacks

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where: (a) the law requires a refund; (b) Section 12 provides a refund because we end your account without breach on your part; or (c) we grant a refund through Report & Refund.
  • Report & Refund lets paying users report an unsatisfactory turn and receive back the credits charged for that turn. It is a goodwill measure, not a warranty. We may limit or withdraw it, including for an account we believe is abusing it.
  • Consumers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: when you buy credits or a subscription, you ask us to make the Service available immediately. You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, but your right of withdrawal ends once you have used credits from that purchase. If you withdraw from a subscription after using it, we may deduct the value of the Service already supplied.
  • If you start a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge that was valid, we may suspend your account while it is resolved. If the dispute is decided in your favour, we may remove the credits bought with that payment and any credits linked to it.

9.6 Running out of credit

When your balance runs out during a task, the task pauses. If you add credit within 72 hours, you can continue the task. After that, the task’s working data may be deleted. Your conversation and files are not deleted when a task pauses; they follow your retention setting.

10. Free and guest access

  • Free and guest access is provided as a courtesy. We may change, limit or end free credits, guest allowances and the models available to guests and free users at any time.
  • Output produced on free or guest access may carry a watermark or be shortened.
  • We may refuse or reduce free credits where we detect several accounts from one person or device.

11. Retention, deletion and backups

  • We keep Your Content for the retention period you choose in your account, or otherwise for the default period described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Deletion under your retention setting, and deletion you carry out yourself, is permanent. Deleted content cannot be recovered by you or by us.
  • The Service is not a backup or archiving service. Keep your own copies of anything you need.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the loss or corruption of Your Content, including deletion carried out under your retention setting or at your request.

12. Suspension, termination and account deletion

  • We may suspend or terminate your account, or your access to any part of the Service, if: you breach these Terms or a Provider’s usage policy; we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse; your use creates a risk to the Service, to other users, to a Provider or to us; or we must do so to comply with the law or a request from a Provider or authority.
  • Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond before acting, unless doing so would create a risk or break the law.
  • If we terminate your account because you breached these Terms, your remaining credits are forfeited. If we terminate your account for any other reason, other than permanently stopping the Service, we will refund the Forever Credits you bought and have not used, at the price you paid for them.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your account page. You must cancel any active subscription first. When you delete your account, your remaining credits are forfeited and the deletion cannot be undone.
  • Sections 5.1, 5.3, 6, 11 and 13 to 21 continue to apply after termination.

13. Our intellectual property and feedback

  • The Service, including its software, designs, prompts, workflows, text and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service in line with these Terms. We keep all other rights.
  • If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them for any purpose without paying or crediting you.

14. Copyright complaints

If you believe material available through the Service infringes your copyright, email [email protected]. Include: your contact details; a description of the work; where the material is located, for example the shared link; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the right or are authorised to act for the owner. We may remove or disable the material, and we will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

15. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. THIS INCLUDES ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR QUIET ENJOYMENT. IN PARTICULAR, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, LAWFUL, CORRECTLY FORMATTED OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE; (B) A REDACTION WILL REMOVE ALL OF THE INFORMATION YOU MEANT TO REMOVE; (C) THE SERVICE, ANY MODEL OR ANY PROVIDER WILL BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE; OR (D) ANY PROVIDER WILL COMPLY WITH ITS OWN TERMS, POLICIES OR COMMITMENTS, OR KEEP THEM UNCHANGED. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent the law allows.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • NEITHER WE NOR OUR MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE LIABILITY; AND (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Fast Law LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents against any third-party claim, and any resulting loss, liability, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees, arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms, of a Provider’s usage policy or of the law; (b) Your Content; (c) your infringement of anyone else’s rights; (d) your misuse of the Service; or (e) your negligence or wilful misconduct. We will tell you about any such claim within a reasonable time and may take part in its defence with counsel of our choice.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include: outages, rate limits, suspensions, withdrawals, policy changes or price changes by AI, cloud, network or payment Providers; sanctions, export controls and other government action; failures of networks, power or hosting; cyber-attacks; labour disputes; and natural disasters, epidemics or war.

19. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or the Service, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
  • Before starting any proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] and give us 60 days to try to resolve the dispute informally. Either party may still seek urgent injunctive relief at any time.
  • Subject to the next point, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
  • If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protection of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where the law allows.
  • To the extent permitted by law, claims may be brought only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding.

20. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version is dated at the top of this page.
  • If a change materially disadvantages you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version. Other changes take effect when we publish them.
  • If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and delete your account.

21. General

  • Electronic communications. You agree to receive contracts, notices, receipts and other communications from us electronically, by email or in the Service. These satisfy any legal requirement for written communications.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided your rights under these Terms are not reduced.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, we have not waived our right to enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the prices and limits shown in the Service, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreement about it.
  • Relationship. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship.
  • Language. Translations of these Terms are provided for convenience only. The English version is the only one with legal effect. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.
